Raise the Roof – Music for the Meetinghouse

A Fund Raising Concert for The First Churches in Northampton on April 6th from 2pm-4:30pm. This show will feature about a dozen musical acts that include Primate Fiasco, Leah Kunkel, Jim Henry, and School for the Dead, along with juggling and hula hoop acts. Bill Dwight and Johnny Memphis will emcee the event

Many of these artists have performed at First Churches at events such as First Night, and have volunteered their talent to help raise money for the historic building, which needs $2 million worth of ceiling and roof repairs.

First Churches, located at 129 Main Street, is more than just a venue for local artists. It serves as a gathering place for 35 groups, including community service groups, each week, with more than 1,200 people meeting under its roof on a weekly basis.
