ABOUT JUSTIN ROBERTS NEW CD
Jungle Gym, the seventh family music release from Justin Roberts, is a collection of 12 new original songs taking listeners on a journey through the iconic moments of childhood. His colorful lyrics paint portraits of experiences that are formative to every child. Roberts has a distinct way of capturing the essence of the most memorable times in childhood with his inspiring lyrics, catchy hooks and lush rhythms. The album title comes from a line in the song “Sign My Cast,” in which an injured kid is left behind as his friends get to go play outside. A brother’s out-of-control fascination with large moving vehicles spurs the rousing song “Obsessed by Trucks.” And when a kid is “stuck here with this man with sharp objects in his hand,” it can only mean that it’s a “New Haircut.”
