This month we are pleased to offer a chance to win a pairs of tickets to see Michael Franti and Spearhead at the Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA at 8pm on Thursday, May 31st, 2012. Opening act, Zach Heckendorf.

ABOUT MICHAEL FRANTI AND SPEARHEAD
For over two decades, the Bay Area born Michael Franti has been bringing our world exceptionally powerful, deeply felt music. Franti first formed the punk band The Beatnigs while studying at the University of San Francisco, and later the far more hip hop-inflected The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy. Hilltown Families is the first place I look to find fun things to do with my preschool age daughter during the week and on weekends. I’ve found everything from puppet shows to concerts to community festivals on this site. I think it’s the most comprehensive calender of family-friendly events in the area.

hilltown families always seems to have the best list of events in the valley! every month i find out about festivals, workshops and farmer’s markets in the area to attend. also, you did a great job of promoting the hilltown festival! even when i can’t make it to an event i feel connected to my community by knowing what is happening – and try to get to it in the future!
