AEC Pony Days

Children’s Renaissance Summer Program

July Youth Tennis Clinics

Tennis pro Kelly Berry leads July Youth Tennis Clinics for three sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 9am-11:30pm at the University of Massachusetts (Session I: July 5, 6, 7; Session II: July 12, 13, 14; Session III: July 19, 20, 21). The Hartsbrook School Farm Camp

Hadley, MA ♦ The Hartsbrook School’s Farm Camp offers children the chance to connect with nature through the life of a working farm. Through meaningful work, Young Stewards (ages 6-12) learn about the farm animals and their care. They enjoy the land-based crafts of farm and garden, such as butter/cheese making, wool dyeing, felting, and paper making. The Spouts (ages 4-6) have their own teacher and activities, like grinding grain, making flower chains, and visiting the animals. CIT’s (ages 13-15) assist with campers and activities. iDesign Workshops

Girls Grow

Celtic Heels Dance

Summer Weaving Workshop

Mass Audubon’s Pleasant Valley Nature Day Camp

Riotous Youth Summer Program

Lenox, MA ♦ An artistic alternative to youth summer camp, Riotous Youth is a series of two-week summer theatre programs. During each session, students explore one of Shakespeare’s plays through daily exercises, games and activities. The students work on a performance piece based on their explorations, which they share with family, friends and Company members on the final day of the session, at an outdoor performance on the Rose Footprint.

KidsAct!

Pittsfield, MAKidsAct! gives young performers, ages 7-14, the opportunity to work with experienced theatre instructors as they create, rehearse and perform their own original plays & musicals. The two-week DramaKids! program (6/27-7/8 and 8/1-12), focuses on building acting and improv skills through fun theatre activities as well as the creation of original plays. The three-week BroadwayKids! program (7/11-29) adds the elements of music and movement as students work with professional theatre artists to learn Broadway songs and dance numbers as a part of their original musical. Discounts available for siblings and for multiple sessions. Classes meet M-F, 9am-3pm. Extended-care available from 8am – 5:30pm.

Rock On!

Pittsfield, MA ♦ Rock On is a two- week program of instrument instruction, workshops, rehearsals, and performances. All levels and instruments are welcome. They focus on developing musicianship through ensemble playing. Students are coached in a nurturing atmosphere that fosters teamwork and creativity. Their Contemporary Music Program in rock, blues, and jazz includes Songwriting, Recording, Voice, and Ukulele. New this year is DJ Mixing and Editing. Circus Camp for Kids & Adults

Marlboro College Pre-College Summer Programs

Marlboro, VT ♦ Marlboro College’s Pre-College Summer Programs offer young adults (age 15-19) the opportunity to study with Marlboro professors and build relationships with a group of other students passionate about learning. Participants spend all day with a faculty member, and get an introduction to Marlboro’s interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to college academic work. One- or two-week programs ranging from “Philosophy Gone Wild” to “DIY Chemistry” take place on or near Marlboro’s beautiful southern Vermont campus, and run between July 3 and July 30.
